1/ Drink plenty of water: Drinking plenty of water is one of the most important tips to follow to prevent heatstroke, especially in hot weather.
2/ Eat fruits and vegetables: It is recommended to eat fruits and vegetables that are high in water content when staying outdoors for long periods of time, such as watermelon, oranges, peaches, cucumbers, radishes, lettuce, and others to avoid dehydration and stay hydrated.
3/ Diversify your drinks: To add a refreshing touch to your drinking water, we recommend adding fresh fruits and leafy greens to cold water, to add a different flavor and encourage drinking more water.
Here are some ideas for flavoring water for optimal body hydration in the summer.
  • Cucumber-Lemon: A refreshing combination that combines the light flavor of cucumber with the zesty acidity of lemon.
  • Watermelon-Mint: A balance between the sweetness of watermelon and the freshness of mint.
  • Rosemary-Berries: Blends the bitterness of rosemary with the sweetness and tartness of berries.
  • Ginger-Lime: Lime balances the warmth of ginger and prevents it from becoming the overpowering flavor.
  • Peach-Wild Thyme: Peaches have acidity and sweetness, while thyme adds a prominent herbal flavor.
