Preparation
Step 1
Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread baba ganoush in the center of the dough, leaving the sides empty.
Step 2
Layer the ingredients - tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, Goody tuna, onion, olives, feta cheese, olive oil, and thyme - one by one.
Use a knife to cut 10 even strips horizontally from both sides of the dough.
Step 3
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, about ½ inch inward over the edges of the filling. Starting from one end, begin folding the dough strips over the filling alternately to create a braided appearance.
Step 4
Brush the dough with the beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 28-30 minutes, until golden and fully cooked.
Serve it sprinkled with parsley and enjoy the wonderful taste!
