Preparation
Step 1
Set a pan with the oil over a medium heat. Cook the onion for 5-6 minutes. Add the garlic, cook for 1 minute, stir in the carrot, cook for 3-4 minutes more then remove from the pan.
Step 2
Return the pan to the heat. Fry the mince for 4-5 minutes. Return the onion-carrot mixture to the pan along with the bay leaves. Season and stir in the tomato paste and sieved tomatoes.
Step 3
Simmer for 20 minutes until the mix is thick.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Put the lasagna sheets in a baking dish, cover with hot water and soften for 3-5 minutes.
