Preparation
Step 1
Working against the grain, slice the steak into thin strips and set aside until needed.
Step 2
Set a large pan with the 2 tbsp olive oil over a medium-high heat and add the onion. Cook for 6-7 minutes, until softened and translucent.
Step 3
Add the steak to the pan and sear on all sides.
Step 4
Stir in the garlic, cumin and paprika and cook for two minutes. Pour over the marinara sauce, followed by the bay leaves and cinnamon. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to pack instructions. Drain and toss with a little olive oil.
Step 6
Carefully stir the cooked spaghetti through the mogalgal. Transfer to a large serving platter and garnish with the pine nuts, chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
