Preparation
Step 1
in a pan over low heat Gently cook onions until soft. Then, add minced garlic and grated ginger and cook until fragrant.

Then add pineapple, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and tamarind paste. Stir well.
Step 3
Add cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, saltand clove to the pan and mix everything together.
Step 4
Let the mixture simmer gently over low heat for about 30-40 minutes, stirring every now and then until pineapple is soft and the chutney thickens.
Step 5
Take the pan off the heat and stir in the sumac and chopped mint. Let the chutney cool completely before serving.
