Preparation
Step 1
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Using a hot griddle or an iron pan, grill the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side. Check if the chicken is cooked well by checking its internal temperature using a thermometer or by cutting the chicken in half; as the chicken’s center must not be pink. If there is a room on the pan, add the onion slices to grill them for another 5-6 minutes.
Step 3
Place the cheese slices over the chicken and let them melt.
Step 4
Fry the bread, and then coat it with the barbeque sauce. Put the vegetables and grilled chicken and enjoy.
