Preparation
Step 1
Set a large saucepan with the olive oil over a medium heat.

Cook the onion for 5 minutes until turning soft. Add the carrot and celery and cook for 4 more minutes.

Add the bay leaf, garlic, rosemary, thyme and oregano. Cook for 1 minute.

Add the beef mince and stir to brown all over. Pour in the sieved tomatoes and ½ cup water.

Cook the spaghetti according to pack instructions. Add ½ cup pasta cooking water to the bolognese sauce.
Step 7
To serve, drain the pasta and divide among plates. Top with the bolognese sauce and sprinkle with parmesan.
